Few Verses from Quran to remove some misconceptions:

And the mosques are for Allah (Alone) so invoke not anyone along with Allah.

Al-Jinn 18/72

Say (O Muhammad): I am only a human being like you    Fussilat 6/41

Muhammad is not father of any of your men, but he is the messenger of Allah and the last (end) of the prophets and Allah is all aware of everything.                   Al-Ahzab 40/33

Neither did you (O Muhammad) read any book before it (this Quran) nor did you write any book (what so ever) with your right hand. In that case, indeed the followers of falsehood might have doubted     Al-Ankabut 48/29

Those who follow the Messenger, the prophet who can neither read nor write (i.e. Muhammad) whom they find written about in the Taurat (Torah) (Deut, xviii 15) and the Injil (Gospel) (John xiv 16) with them   Al-A`raf 157/7

…..Prophet can neither read nor write..                 Al-A`raf 158/7

Then they both ate of the tree, so their private parts became manifest t o them, and they began to cover themselves with the leaves of paradise for their covering, thus did Adam disobey his Lord, so they went astray.   Ta-Ha 121/20

Whoever goes right, then he goes right only for the benefit of his own self. And whoever goes astray, and then he goes astray to his own loss. No one laden with burden can bear another’s burden. And we never punish until we have sent a messenger (to give warning)   Al-Isra 15/17

And He gave you all that you asked from him, and if you count the Blessings of Allah, never will you be able to count them. Verily, man is indeed an extreme wrongdoer, a disbeliever    Ibrahim 34/14

And we sent not a messenger except with the language of his people, in order that he might make (the message) clear for them. The Allah misleads whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise                                    Ibrahim 4/14

Say (O Muhammad):”I find  not in that what has been revealed to me anything forbidden to be eaten by one who wishes to eat, unless it be Maytah ( a dead animal) or blood poured forth (by slaughtering or the like),or the flesh of swine (pork);for that surely is impure or impious (unlawful) meat as a sacrifice for others than Allah (or has been slaughtered for idols, or on which Allah`s Name has not been mentioned while slaughtering).But whoever if forced by necessity without willful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits;(for him) certainly, your Lord is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” Al-An`am 145/6

O you who believe! Intoxicants (all kinds of alcoholic drinks) and gambling and Al-Ansab, and Al-Azlam (arrows for seeking luck or decision) are abomination of shaytan`s (Satan’s) handiwork. So avoid (strictly all) that (abominations) in order that you may be successful.   Al-Ma`idah 89/5

They ask (O Muhammad) concerning Alcoholic drink and gambling. Say.”In them is a great sin, and (some) benefits for men, but the sin of them is greater then their benefit.”  Al-Baqarah 219/2

Verily, Allah  forgives not (the sin of) setting up partners ( in worship) with Him but he forgives whom He wills, sins other then that, and whoever sets up partners in worship with Allah, has indeed strayed far away.         An-Nisa 116/4

Verily, Allah forgives not that partners should be set up with him (in worship), but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom he wills; and whoever sets up partners with Allah in worship, he has indeed invented a tremendous  sin.           Al-Nisa 47/4

And (remember) when the angels said ;”O Maryam (Mary)! Verily ,Allah has choosen you you,purified you (from polytheist and disbelief) and chosen you above the women of Alamin (Mankind and jinn)(for life time)     Al-Imran 42/3

She said ;”O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me.” He said;”So,for Allah creates what he Wills. When He has decreed something, He says to it only; “Be!”  - and it  is .[ Al-Imran 47/3] And because of their (Jews) disbelief and uttering against Maryam (Mary) a grave false charge (that she has committed illegal sexual intercourse)  An-Nisa 156/4

And will make him [ Isa (Jesus) ] a Messenger to the children of Israel (saying); “I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that I design for you out of clay, a figure like that of bird, and breath into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah’s Leave ; and I heal him who was born blind, and the leper , and I bring dead to life by Allah`s Leave. And I inform you of what you eat, and what you store in your houses. Surely, in that is a sign for you, if you are believers.               Al- Imran 49/3

Surely, they disbelieved who say:”Allah is the Messiah {‘Isa (Jesus)} son of Maryam (Marry).”O children of Israel! Worship Allah , my Lord and your Lord.”Verily whosoever sets up partner (in worship) with Allah ,then Allah has forbidden paradise to him ,and the fire will be his abode ,And for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers) there are no helpers.   Al-Ma`idah 72/5

And (remember) when Allah will say (on the day of Resurrection):”O ‘Isa (Jesus),son of maryam (Marry) ! Did you say unto men: ‘Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allah? “ He will say : “Glorified you are ! it was not for me to say what I had no right (to say ). Had I said such a thing,you would surely have known it.You know what is in my inner self though I do not know what is in Yours; truly, You, only you, are the All-Knower of all that is hidden ( and unseen)   Al-Ma`idah 116/5

And they (disbelievers) plotted [to kill Isa (Jesus) and Allah planned too. And Allah is the best of those who plot .     Al-Imran 54/3

And because of their saying (in boast) “We have killed Messiah ‘Isa (jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messanger of Allah,”-but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but it appeared so to them {the resemblance of Isa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man)} and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely they killed him not [Isa (Jesus) son of Maryam (Mary)]    An-Nisa 157/4

But Allah raised him ‘[Isa (Jesus) up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and is in heavens). And Allah is Ever. All-Powerful, All-Wise     An-Nisa 158/4

And there is none of people of the scripture (Jews and Christians) but must believe in him [Isa(Jesus),son of Maryam (Mary),as only messenger of Allah and a human being] before his death. And on the Day of Resurrection, he will be a witness against them. Al-Nisa 159/4

For bidden to you ( For marriage) are : your mothers, your daughters, your sisters, your father`s sisters, yours mother sisters, your sisters daughter, your foster mother who suckled you, your foster suckling sisters, your wives mothers, your step daughters under your guardianship, born of your wives to whom you have gone in-but there is no sin on you if you have not gone in them ( to marry their daughters),-the wives of your sons who (spring) from your own lions, and two sisters in wedlock at the same time, except for what has already passed. Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving. Most Merciful   An-Nisa 23/4

Merry women of your choice, two or three, or four; but if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly with them, then only one    An-Nisa ¾

Who took His slave (Muhammad) for a journey by night from Al-Masjid Al-Haraam (at Makkah) to Al-Masjid Al-Aqsaa (in Jerusalem), the neighbourhood whereof We have blessed, in order that We might show him (Muhammad) of Our Ayaat (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, etc.)’    [al-Isra’ 17:1]
